Causes of Common Problems During Briquetting Process:
1. Rough briquetting, lots of smoke coming from all sides of the rod, followed by no rod output:
Raw material is too dry, temperature is too high, or clearance between the screw and sleeve is too large.
2. Poor briquetting density and too fast speed: Screw adjustment is too long or temperature is too high.
3. Briquetting is not smooth with popping sounds: Raw material is too wet, temperature is too low, or clearance fit is unsuitable.
4. No rod output and screw getting stuck: Temperature is too low, spiral is too short or worn.
5. No rod output while screw runs idle: Screw is too short or already worn.
6. Briquette has density but breaks when bent with a shiny cross-section: The initial front edge of the spiral is too high.
7. Backflow of gas: Raw material is too wet or the machine runs too long without rod output due to other reasons.
8. Bent rods: Raw material not sufficiently dried, high moisture content.
9. Same raw material works well on one Briquetting Machine but poorly or not at all on another: Improper clearance fit between sleeve and screw.
10. Same raw material but rod output speed slows down after changing the screw: The first spiral groove of the screw is too high.
11. When temperature is high, carbonization occurs; when low, no rod output: The sleeve is severely worn.
12. Blocked holes, continuous popping, rod output too slow or abnormal: Severely worn spiral front edge root, spiral front edge, or sleeve.
Special reminder: Abnormal rod output is generally related to the moisture content of raw materials, the length of the screw inside the sleeve (clearance fit), and the heating temperature during briquetting. Accurately master these "three degrees".
